Column Maths

this morning I took a video of me doing column maths. Column maths is the easiest strategy (in my opinion) and you can use it for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. Here is how you do it. Do you think column maths are easy?

New Brighton Museum

WALT learn about New Brighton history.
On Wednesday last week we went to the New Brighton museum then we made a google drawing on what we learnt. We learnt more than this but me and my buddy couldn't fit it on the page. it was kind of hard because we had to remember what happened nearly a week ago. Have you been to the New Brighton Museum?

WALT to create a germ. We had to create a germ using shapes in google draw. I worked with my two friends. how created my germs was i closed my eyes and clicked a random five shapes. These are my germs.

Compassionate

WALT to explain how you can be compassionate. We have been learning to be compassionate. An example is the story of the Good Samaritan.  These are some ways you can be compassionate
 1.Being grateful when someone gives me something.

2.Helping people

3.Complimenting people.

being compassionate is easy, we do it everyday. When you smile at someone thats being compassionate. How can you show compassion?

My problem solving reflection

WALT work with others to solve problems in a respectful way.

We worked well together and everyone contributed there ideas, although afterwards me and Bryce started talking about Harry Potter.

Next time afterwards we should go to the teacher straight away once we are done.

We had to write five things we had achieved so far this year. It was hard because I hadn't really achieved anything this year plus I was super tired.

The amazing Living Springs

WALT: write in paragraphs.

Hi everybody, this is my story about how Living Springs stuffed me with cake and raro (and other experiences).

My camp was at Living Springs with my class. Now usually it takes 20mins to drive but since we were walking it took 3 hours. Unfortunately we had to sleep in tents although fortunately I was with Lily-Rose otherwise it would have been extremely annoying. We were there for 2 nights and three days.

I loved the archery tag. The archery tag was where we got to shoot everyone (including the teachers) with a bow and a soft arrow. When we did this they played the Star Wars theme tune. We got to wear helmets that looked like storm trooper helmets except they were black. 

I also loved the monorail. The monorail was scary but fun. The rails were rusty and all we had was a flimsy little seatbelt (not to put anyone off). The corners were really sharp and it felt like you were going to fall off! You had to hold on super tight. I screamed the entire time.

Thank you to Ms Daines for paying to go to Living Springs. Thanks to the parents for all the help and to Mr Gray and Miss Pownell for keeping everyone's spirits up. Thank you to Living springs for being so hospitable and to Vege direct for giving us the food that we needed.

I learnt that I prefer a bed to a sleeping bag and a sleep mat and that climbing is one of my strong points. I would definitely recommend it because it has a lot of things to do, they even have a swimming pool!
