What makes a good friend=)

This term we have been learning about what makes a good friend. A good friend is someone who helps you if you fall. It's someone that doesn't say mean things about your friend and it's someone who accepts you for who you are. What was enjoyable was making the video. Can you be a good friend?

Stop Motion Animation!

Today we did stop motion animation. We used Stop Motion Animator and edited it using We Video. This is how we did our stop motion animation. First we took a series of photos resembling a story. Then we put them together into a video (we speed it up so it looked smooth). Then, using We Video, we added special affects like music, graphics and text.  My animation is called The Sleepy Girl. It's about a girl and she can't stop falling asleep. We Video is a really good app for video editing. Can you do stop motion animation?

Super spy pen!

W.A.L.T  Write an argument.
To write an argument you have to write a catchy title. For example my title was "Super spy pen".  Then you need to write your introduction and state three reasons.  Then you need to write your three reasons and give lots of examples.  Make sure you use detail.  Then you need to use a good strong conclusion.  For example "So this is why you should buy the spy pen".  Once we had done that we had to do a advertisement about our persuasive writing. Then we had to video ourselves doing it.My buddy was Olive. What do you know about persuasive arguments now?

Statistics.

W.A.L.T. Gather and present information.
Recently we have been doing statistics which means gathering information and then present it.There are lots of different types of ways to do statistics but we did three. They were called the bar graph, pictogram and a tally chart. First we had a subject to do a tally chart on.For example my one was what is Rm 4's favourite colour.I had to go around asking people what their favourite colour was. Then we would record it using tally marks.Next we had to draw it out in a bar graph. To draw one you have to draw the Y axis(the line going down) and the X axis(the line going across). Then you have to label the Y axis with "number of votes" and the X axis with "options".Then you have to write down numbers on the side. Then you have to draw bars up to the number of votes on the side. Then you need to write three statements. For example Blue had the most votes,Yellow had the least number of votes,Blue had three votes more than Purple. You can also do a pictogram. To draw one you have to draw a coulmn  and long lines straight across. Then you have to draw little pictures to represent how many votes you got.I enjoyed doing the bar graphs because it was really hard. What I found hard was coming up with a subject to do it on because you had to not make it very specific.Next time I would like to do fractions. What do you know about graphs?
