The amazing Living Springs
WALT: write in paragraphs.
Hi everybody, this is my story about how Living Springs stuffed me with cake and raro (and other experiences).
My camp was at Living Springs with my class. Now usually it takes 20mins to drive but since we were walking it took 3 hours. Unfortunately we had to sleep in tents although fortunately I was with Lily-Rose otherwise it would have been extremely annoying. We were there for 2 nights and three days.
I loved the archery tag. The archery tag was where we got to shoot everyone (including the teachers) with a bow and a soft arrow. When we did this they played the Star Wars theme tune. We got to wear helmets that looked like storm trooper helmets except they were black.
I also loved the monorail. The monorail was scary but fun. The rails were rusty and all we had was a flimsy little seatbelt (not to put anyone off). The corners were really sharp and it felt like you were going to fall off! You had to hold on super tight. I screamed the entire time.
Thank you to Ms Daines for paying to go to Living Springs. Thanks to the parents for all the help and to Mr Gray and Miss Pownell for keeping everyone's spirits up. Thank you to Living springs for being so hospitable and to Vege direct for giving us the food that we needed.
I learnt that I prefer a bed to a sleeping bag and a sleep mat and that climbing is one of my strong points. I would definitely recommend it because it has a lot of things to do, they even have a swimming pool!

Road trip playlist
WALT to make a playlist of songs that added up to exactly 26 mins
This is my playlist of songs for a road trip. The criteria for this was no swearing or inappropriate words and it had to add up to exactly 26 mins. It was tricky because there was a situation when I had 25 min and 59 sec. These are my songs

My animation
WALT to use the shortcut keys
Today we did a slides animation which is harder than you think. My animation is about two people throwing and catching a ball. It is a very simple animation but it still took along time to copy and paste everything. Have you ever done an animation?

Living springs camp.
WALT to set goals for camp.
In a couple of weeks we will be going to Living Springs.
Much to my disappointment we are going in tents.
I enjoyed this activity because it got me excited.
How many camps have you been to?

Akaroa
Yesterday I went to Akaroa with my friend. It took 2 hours drive to get there. When we got out of the car our legs felt like jelly. First we went and had a picnic on the beach. While we were there we collected shells. Then we went to this old library that looks like a upturned boat. We looked in the visitors book. Some people were from Netherlands! Then we went and ice cream. I had orange choc chip flavoured. Afterwards we went to a playground. The paint was flaking off the bars and the flying fox was rusted so it wasn't a very good playground. Then we decided to drive home. We fell asleep on the way home. Then we dropped off my friend and we went home.
