Meet the Robinson's Movie

WALT to write a reflection about Meet the Robinson's. This week we did avail. We watched the movie Meet the Robinson's. It is about an orphan boy who likes to invent things. He invented a machine that can show you a memory in a mirror. Then an evil man steals it. The boy then meets Wilbur who is from the future. Wilbur is supposedly a secret agent who is trying to stop the evil man. I enjoyed the movie although it takes a long time to introduce the villain. My favourite activity we did was the synonym search. We had a list of words that were in the movie and we had to write synonyms to them. Have you seen Meet the Robinson's?

My Kind Certificate

WALT to make a certificate to present to someone who has been kind. Today we had to make a certificate to present to someone if the show an act of kindness. It was fun because I got to give it to someone. I did this with my friends. I made the cat using chrome canvas and tracing over the picture. How can you be kind?

Would you rather/ Persuasive writing

WALT Record arguments and back them up with evidence. Today in writing we did a "Would you rather?" The question was "Would you rather be a Lion or an Eagle.
Here is my argument:I would rather be an eagle, because I feel like they would survive longer in the wild as they can fly away from predators.
Eagles are also protected from predators by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.
Eagles have very strong and powerful claws so they can easily fight off the predator, and even if the claws are broken they can 120-160 km per hour.
Also the eagle only eats mice and rats, and they can’t hurt them. That is why I would rather be an eagle.
I enjoyed the task but I wish we had more time as we only had 10 minutes. What is a hard would you rather?
