How to make oaty choc chip biscuits

WALT Identify different types instructions and write our own.
We had to write instructions e.g a recipe or a skill or how to look after a pet. I made instructions on how to make oaty choc chip biscuits.

How to make oaty choc chip biscuits.
These biscuits are low in sugar and taste very yummy. Maybe you have made these biscuits and you used a different recipe. This is probably the healthiest recipe because the sugar is halved(It still tastes the same though).

Ingredients
150 g unsalted butter
¼ of a cup brown sugar
¼ of a cup Caster sugar
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup plain flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup of choc chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 180℃. Line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Use an electric beater and combined sugar in a medium bowl until pale and creamy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until well combined.
  3. Sift the flour and baking powder over the egg mixture. Add the oats and chocolate and stir until well combined.
  4. Roll tablespoons of the mixture into balls. Place on lined tray and flatten with a fork (tip dip it in hot water so it doesn't stick. Bake for 12-15 mins or until light golden.
  5. Set aside on the tray for 5 mins to cool before putting on to a wire rack to cool completely.

  1. Hi Kate this is Lily-Rose here. I really like your recipe on how to make Oaty Choc Chips biscuits they sound really yummy! I love how you set up the recipe up like it was from a cookbook. Next time maybe say how to make it in a bowl because I don't have a electric beater. What other things do you bake?

  2. Hi Kate this is Scarlett from New Brighton Catholic school.
I really like your Oaty choc chip biscuits recipe. Mum and me are going to make them. I like how there is not too much sugar in them because every morning Ada asks the same thing. ¨Biscuit please.¨ So now we will be able
to give her one. Maybe next time you should put a picture in because it will show people how they look. I can´t wait to see your next post.
